 This is our biggest yellowfin in Louisiana so far. It weighed
out at 206 pounds even.It came off Midnight Lump, late in the season in early March. There were three big fish of this size in the slick for at least a half an hour before we were able to trick one into taking a chunk with a hook in it. We even had some live goggle eyes that the finiky tunas wouldn't touch...even without a hook in them. Finally one of them made that fatal mistake and fell for a pogy head with a well concealed, under-sized hook. The 60# flouro leader did a great job holding fast and we brought a drowned, tail wrapped fish over the side in about a half an hour.
